Nobiru Foundation builds Casa Nobiru: community sports places where young people trade the street and the screen for the pitch, the wall and the track. Places to move, to belong, and to meet people who believe in them.

In many languages the word needs no translation. It says belonging, warmth and refuge. For a young person looking for somewhere to go, that is exactly what every Casa Nobiru is built to be.
Lit, fenced, cared for and open every day, in the neighbourhoods that need it most.
Coaches, mentors and visiting athletes who believe in every young person who walks through the gate.
From the first match on the corner pitch to school, to a team and, for some, all the way to the top.

Every Casa carries the same name, the same standards and the same purpose, whatever its size. Donors choose the scale they want to make possible.
One piece, placed where it matters most.
A five-a-side synthetic pitch, a skate park or a wide bouldering wall, built in the heart of a neighbourhood with nowhere to play. Lit, safe and open every day.
A neighbourhood sports hub.
Two or three sports on one site, floodlights for evening play, changing rooms with showers and a covered room for homework, mentoring and workshops. Coaches run a daily programme.
Where talent finds a pathway.
A full training centre with a gym, an athletics track, courts, changing rooms, a dining hall and modular residences, where the most committed young people from the network can train, study and grow.

Provide the land, on a long-term agreement, and the public services around it.
Community organisations with deep roots run each Casa every day: coaches, schedules and safety.
Funds and builds the Casa, sets the standards, protects the name and measures the impact.
Elite athletes from the Nobiru community visit the Casas, run clinics and mentor. For a child who has never left the neighbourhood, meeting someone who did is where ambition begins.
Funds an entire Casa, which carries their name for years to come.
Name a feature within a Casa: the pitch, the wall, the track.
Recognised together on each Casa’s wall of names, and online.
Great gifts are not the only way to build a Casa. Contributions of every size, added together, make Casas possible too, and every supporter is recognised on the wall of names.
Contribute any amountA child-protection policy, background checks for every coach, mentor and visiting athlete, and an independent reporting channel.
Every story is told with care. No child appears without their family’s consent, and every child can say no.
Young people reached, hours of sport, school attendance: measured against a baseline and evaluated independently.
Every background, every belief, every ability. Each Casa stays neutral and apart from politics.
We are preparing a first wave of Casas on three continents. If you would like to help choose where, or put your name on one, talk to us.
